This recently remodeled space adds an opportunity for semi-private functions. Shawn Ellifritz used re-claimed wood from our Stand at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds (1950s) and added some choice pieces from Middletown, to create our rustic feel.
The Amherst County Mantel (1920s) was a gift and all but one sign commemorate a host of Shaffer family-run businesses, stretching back to the 1920s. The tables were crafted by Clarke Heffern using re-claimed beams from an 1840s-era barn on the Garrett Farm, just west of Middletown.
Our room seats 16 comfortably and offers an unmatched view of the Shenandoah Valley....and the best part is it's free to reserve!
